You are Responsible for everything!

This may sound preposterous and it is! But the concept is so simple and powerful that it pays huge dividends to the person who takes it to heart. Take the case of programming; no one gets great recognition for doing what is asked of them to do - word by word. People who move up are those, who looked around, poked their nose into other projects; who contributed above and beyond their call of duty and helped their Team reach beyond what was ordinary or what was asked of them. How do these individuals do that ? Where do they get this extra energy/enthusiasm/time etc to pour into something not directly related to their work?

They show interest, they feel responsible to contribute irrespective of the project; they feel that it is their duty to correct problems, wherever they occur. It is their duty to be involved in others problems, miseries and misfortunes. They make the time to reach out and in the process prove to others that they are professionals that others can depend on, thus elevating their own stature while contributing to others.

| So, feeling responsible for whatever that goes around you, makes you more powerful, energetic and helpful. Thus making you a professional and being wanted by others. It is all in your attitude! |
